Customer Terms and Conditions

1. Vehicle Inspection & Condition Reporting

  •  Pre-Transport Inspection: A thorough inspection will be completed before pickup. Any pre-existing damage will be documented on the Bill of Lading (BOL) with supporting photographs.

  • Photographic Record: Photos taken at pickup serve as the official condition record.

  • Signed Documentation: The BOL must be signed at both pickup and delivery to confirm vehicle condition.

 

2. Payment Terms

  • Payment Due at Pickup: All transportation fees must be paid in full at the time of vehicle pickup. No exceptions.

  • Cancellation Policy: A $100 cancellation fee applies once a driver has been assigned to your order, regardless of pickup status.

 

3. Customer Responsibilities

  • Accurate Vehicle Information: The customer is responsible for providing accurate vehicle details (VIN, condition, etc.).

  • Readiness: Ensure your vehicle is ready for transport and that someone is available at both pickup and delivery.

  • After-Hours Deliveries: If a vehicle is delivered outside of normal hours, Mid Valley Auto Transport Inc. is not liable for it after drop-off.

  • Keys & Belongings: All keys must be handed over at pickup. Please remove personal items — we are not responsible for anything left in the vehicle.

4. Delivery Location Policy

Access Restrictions: If your delivery location cannot accommodate a large transport truck (due to narrow streets, steep driveways, low trees, gated communities, etc.),

  • We are not obligated to complete a door-to-door delivery.

  • Alternate Drop-Off: In such cases, customers must meet the driver at the nearest main road or accessible location that the driver deems safe and suitable for unloading.

5. Vehicle Transport Guidelines

  • Inoperable Vehicles: A fee of up to $450 will apply for non-running or inoperable vehicles.

  • Loading/Unloading: All loading and unloading charges are included in your quoted price.

6. Claims, Damages & Delays

  • Damage Claims: All new damage must be reported at the time of delivery and noted on the BOL. Claims made later without proper documentation may not be honored.

  • Delays: While we aim for timely delivery, unforeseen delays (weather, traffic, mechanical issues) can occur. Excessive delays may qualify for a partial refund or credit, subjEct to review.

  • Insurance Coverage: Vehicles are covered by our transporter’s cargo insurance for verified transit-related damage.

  • Non-compliance (missed appointments, wrong vehicle info, inaccessible locations, etc.) may result in added costs or delays.
